All EL100 lights come with a clip already on the light but the clips like anything can become weak with extreme usage over time and come off (They are super durable so its rare to lose one or break one but not impossible.)
Great for clipping the light to your belt or pocket when you need to use both of your hands so it does not get misplaced and is within reach when you need it.
